广东华侨博物馆是全国首家省属华侨博物馆，位于广州市二沙岛，1995年奠基，2002年建成，2009年11月开馆。建筑面积6000平方米，陈列展览面积4200平方米。现有藏品10000余件（套）。

　　基本陈列由广东华侨历史陈列、广东华侨民居、广东华侨博物馆建设回顾组成。《广东华侨历史陈列》分移民海外、艰苦创业、文化传承、浩气长存、情系乡梓、华侨事务六大部分，全面系统展示广东华侨历史文化，彰显海外侨胞、港澳同胞和归侨侨眷历史贡献。

　　被评为“广东省爱国主义教育基地”“广东省直机关党员教育基地”“广东省直机关关心下一代工作活动基地”“广东省中华文化传承基地”、暨南大学“大学生社会实践基地”、广州大学“爱国主义教育实践基地”、广东华侨中学“华侨爱国主义教育基地”、广东省学前教育协会“华侨文化教学基地”、越秀区教育局侨联“华侨爱国主义教育基地”。

　　广东华侨博物馆以“服务国家、服务侨胞、服务社会”为宗旨，力争建成全国收藏、研究华侨历史文物文献，展示华侨历史文化，弘扬华侨精神，传承华侨文化的重要基地，开展华侨文化交流的重要平台，提供公共文化服务的重要阵地。

Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum (GOCM) is the first provincial level museum on overseas Chinese in China. It is located on Ersha island of Guangzhou city. In 1995, we laid it's foundation stone. In 2002, it's construction was completed. In the November of 2009, it began operation. it's floor area reaches 6000m² and exhibition area reaches 4200m². Now there are over 10000 collections in this museum.

The permanent exhibition here includes the history of overseas Cantonese, the house of overseas Cantonese, and the construction progress of this museum. The history of overseas Cantonese is divided into six sections, emigration, hard work, cultural heritage, eternal noble spirit, deep connection with hometown, and overseas Chinese affairs. It gives an overall picture of the history and contribution of overseas Chinese and their spouses.

GOCM now has been given the name Chinese Cultural Inheritance Base in Guangdong Province, the Social Practice Base for College Students in Jinan University, the Base of Care for Next Generation Activity, the Teaching Base of Overseas Chinese Culture, and etc.

Our motto is to put people first and serve the overseas Chinese and the society. We will do our best to become a vital base of national collection and research on overseas Chinese cultural relics and documents, display on overseas Chinese history, culture, and spirit, and inheritance of overseas Chinese culture. Moreover, our aim is to become an important platform of overseas Chinese culture exchange and public cultural service provision.
